Privacy Policy

In this document you will find all the information you need about how we protect your personal data: what data we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, how you can control the processing, the measures we take to protect your data and the rights you have in relation to the processing.

We respect and comply with all legislation relating to the protection of your personal data when we process it.

What data we collect

We collect the following data about you when providing our services:

Purchase data

When you make a purchase, we ask you for the data necessary to process it. The only mandatory data are those without which we cannot send you the purchase and process your order, such as your name, email address, delivery address, telephone number and the subject of the order itself.

You do not enter any information in our shop that is directly related to the handling of money in your accounts. All currently offered forms of electronic banking (paying for goods over the internet) are done directly on the bank’s website, which only provides us with information about the success or failure of the payment and your name or account number (so that we can identify the payment and reverse it if necessary).

We will never know any other information, such as your login details or your account balance. The only information we store in this context relates to the “remember” function of your card. However, this function is also provided by the bank and only the bank can match your card number with the anonymised data under which your card has been remembered by our system.

Account creation details

If you decide to create a user account with us, we also collect all the data related to this. The only mandatory data is your name and email address, which we use to communicate with you.

News and consumer competitions

If you give us permission to do so, we will also retain your email address for the purpose of sending you information about news, promotions, competitions special offers and weekly newsletters. If you contact us or take part in a survey or consumer competition, we will retain data such as your name, contact details or the message or information you have delivered or communicated to us.

Data collected when you use our services

When you use our services, we also collect data about how you use them. This is information relating to your interactions with our services, such as when you access our site, what you search for on our site, when you create an account, and when you log in to your account.

We also collect information about the devices and computers you use to access our Services, including IP addresses, browser settings, operating system information, or information about your mobile device, information about which website you access us from, the pages you visit, and information from cookies and similar tools.

How personal data is used

We use the information we have collected about you for the following purposes:

To provide services

Based on the information we collect from you, we may deliver our services to you in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, which can be found on our website. We use the data we collect from you when you place an order to process the order or to remind you if you have not completed the order by placing a binding order. We also need this data for our accounting and billing procedures.

We use the data and information we have collected about you when we provide our services to you and when you log in to your account to ensure that your account and the information you have available in it is up to date.

Communication

We use your contact details to send you our communications relating to the processing of orders and the provision of our services or to respond to you when you contact us to enquire about the status of an order, to tell us about a new delivery address, for example, or to ask us to otherwise change your details in your order or user account. We also process your contact data as well as your purchase data in the event that you make a complaint about the delivered goods.

If you have given us your consent to do so, we also send you commercial information by email about news and current special offers that may be of interest to you. You can easily unsubscribe from these emails by clicking “Unsubscribe” in the inbox.

Improving and personalizing our services and marketing

We also use the data we hold to improve and personalise our services, as well as for marketing. For example, we use data about your purchase history and the products you have purchased from us to help us recommend other products that may be of interest to you.

We also use information about visits to and movements around our site and its various sections and the products displayed for advertising and marketing purposes, both on our site and on other websites. We also use this information for analytical purposes.

Security and protection of rights

We also use your data to ensure the security of the services we provide, to respond to claims made against us, in proceedings before government and other authorities that control our activities, and to enforce claims made against us.

Cookies

We also use cookies and similar tools for all of the above purposes. For more information on the terms and conditions of their use, please refer to the section on the use of cookies.

Legal bases

In accordance with the requirements of data protection legislation, the legal bases for processing your personal data are:

Performance of a contract – in the case of ordering goods and setting up a user account, participation in a consumer competition.

Consent – especially in connection with sending commercial communications about news and current offers or other forms of marketing. Any consent given is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time, but this does not affect the lawfulness of the processing prior to its withdrawal.

To comply with our legal obligations – when storing data about you and your order in our accounting system or when disclosing data to state and other authorities that supervise our activities or that resolve disputes or execute decisions.

Our legitimate interest – in improving and personalising our services, certain marketing activities, or in relation to security and rights protection as we have set out above. In these cases, we will always carefully consider whether the processing will constitute a disproportionate interference with your rights.
